Thank You Sandip Burman!
Author: Mac Music. Date: 30th Sep. 2011.
A big thank you goes out to tabla player, Sandip Burman for coming in to do a workshop with students on Tuesday, September 13, 2011. Mr. Burman demonstrated his skills and expertise on the 20 string sitar and the tabla. It was amazing watching him play a 20 string instrument as well as delivering complex rhythmic patterns with speed and precision. Mr. Burman spends his time on tour, working with big names, and also conducting music clinics at high schools and universities. Mac was definitely very lucky to have him come work with us. One important lesson to remember from this workshop is that practice makes all the difference.

Macdonald Field Hockey Team in Bermuda
Author: C. Chant. Date: 16th Mar. 2011.
It has been so amazing and I'm really proud of the girls.
Against the Bermuda National team it was 0-0 at the half..ended 0-3 for them since we were burnt out with no subs.
Against the Swifts, a really good club team we were winning 1-0 all game and they went ahead 2-1 with 5 minutes left in the game.
We have been all over the island, saw the Crystal caves, celebrated Alison Bondy's birthday with cake and candles at the Pickled Onion, shopped in downtown Hamilton, burned our bodies at Horseshoe Bay, and with Katie K., Hailey, and Olympia we haven't stopped laughing since we got here.
Thrill of a lifetime.
